Duwamish Peace Pole Dedication

Come help celebrate the installation of the Duwamish Tribe's Peace Pole Installation and unveiling at the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center. Peace pole was made possible by the generosity of Roberta Greer and the Seattle Rotary Club - Light refreshments will be provided. 

We have chosen the following four languages to represent our Peace Pole: Our traditional Lushootseed representing the Duwamish, Chinook Jargon representing first contact and Coast Salish, Italian representing our partnership: Sister City/Sister Orca in Perugia Italy, and English representing the first settlers to the Pacific NW.
