Duwamish Tribe

The Port of Seattle held a community engagement vote in 2020 to re-name six parks along the Duwamish River.

Terminal 107 (T-107) was re-named həʔapus Village Park & Shoreline Habitat (pronounced “ha-ah-poos”).

The Duwamish Tribe submitted the name "Ha Ah Poos Duwamish Village Park”, but the “Duwamish” name was removed from the naming.
