Rainier Beach Meaningful Movies to Screen Promised Land, Nov 9th

This is a rare screening of Promised Land, a locally produced award-winning documentary chronicling the long fight by the Duwamish and Chinook Tribes for U.S. federal recognition and contextualizing the larger issues of Indigenous sovereignty. 

This screening on November 9th at 7pm is co-sponsored by Rainier Beach Meaningful Movies and Duwamish Solidarity Group (DSG).
